1. How do the stair calculators work? Our stair wizards are designed for single-step calculations. Just enter the total rise from floor to floor and tap “=”. The app instantly calculates the required number of risers to stay under the code-specific maximum height (7 ¾” for Residential or 7 ⅝” for Commercial) and gives you the precise, actual riser height to use for your stringer layout.
2. How do I enter fractions? Use the FRCN button. For example, to enter 8 ¾, you would type 8 INCH 3 FRCN 4.
3. Does the app work offline? Yes! All calculations are performed directly on your device. You do not need an internet or cellular connection to use Frame Calc Pro on the job site.
